If Mercedes-AMG’s normal power levels and standard color palette are unappealing to you, Brabus has your answer. Three new examples of the Brabus 700 Widestar were released on the aftermarket brand’s Facebook page. For the uninitiated, 700 is a reference to the horsepower produced when the true potential of the 5.5L bi-turbo V8 is unleashed. Widestar is the end result of countless hours of metalworking and carbon fiber molds. The three new color packages are: Solarbeam, Blue Metallic, and Smaragd Green.
Don’t let the colors distract you. These potent Germans deliver 627 lb-ft of torque to the ground. Locking all three differentials with this much force on tap is a recipe for slinging a ton of mud or spinning the world’s most violent doughnut. The only downside to building such attractive off-road vehicles, is that you’ll never want to take them off of the pavement. Brabus will build any Mercedes-AMG in any color you desire, so stay tuned to Autofluence for their next custom creation.
