Luxury enthusiasts, grab your checkbooks, because the pricing for your next daily driver has finally been announced.
The first model designed by AMG from the ground up is back for 2015 with a price that makes it positively irresistible. Announced in a press release today, the Mercedes-AMG C63 is set to start at an MSRP of $63,900 for the United States, while the C63 S is set to have a starting price of $71,900.
Set to hit dealerships in April, an upgraded V8 bi-turbo engine is able to produce 469 hp and 479 lb-ft, bringing massive amounts of power to this luxurious daily driver. A score of features will come standard in each, ranging from the necessity of the Collisions Prevention Assist Plus with autonomous emergency braking, to the luxury Nappa leather in the C63 S. Both models will feature AMG Dynamic Exhaust, SIRIUS satellite radio and a 7-speed sport transmission.
Optional features push this landmark model even further, though they will certainly add to an uptick in sticker price. Aesthetic improvements can come in the form of a carbon fiber trim, panorama sunroof, AMG exterior night styling and silver or black 19″ Forged Alloy wheels. On the side of safety and performance come the optional Heads Up display system, Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist and an AMG Carbon Ceramic Braking option, though the last is only for the C63 S.
