For the traveling soul, there’s no better feeling than being on the go. Add in a touch of automotive enthusiast to that soul, and the only place that really feels like home is the open road. So why leave the amenities and luxuries of home in an immobile location while you and your co-pilot take off?
Bring everything you could need easily when your next adventure is in a 2015 Interstate Grand Tour EXT from Airstream. The design focuses on accommodating adventures for two, but this modified Mercedes-Benz 3500 Sprinter is capable of seating up to six.
As in the Interstate Lounge EXT, the Grand Tour has countless options for its floor plan, ranging from plush reclining seats, to beds, to seats that can be folded into a bed. The galley includes a microwave, sink and cooktop as standard features, as does a full bathroom with stand-up shower.
There’s room for a refrigerator, wardrobe storage, pantry and table, as well as additional storage for luggage and sporting equipment in the back. Everything is customizable, from the floor plan, to the color motif throughout the interior and exterior.

But even with the amenities of a full apartment, this home on wheels doesn’t eat up gas. With a typical tow capacity of between 4,200 and 6,400 pounds, the Grand Tour EXT averages 18 mpg, with 325 lb-ft and 188 hp from the 3.0-liter V6 pulling your full vacation along.
