Today, McLaren announced a wide range of series options for the 650S and 625C in a press release. These new options will be available through the newly formed ‘MSO Defined’ division. Now McLaren has five tiers of divisions to assist their customer’s automotive needs.

The five divisions are:
MSO Defined – This category of personalization is aimed at the 650s/625C. MSO Defined can personalize the cars with an aerodynamic kit, subtle carbon fiber interior upgrades, a redesigned instrument panel and more.
MSO Bespoke – MSO Bespoke offers unique paint, leather and stitching colors, stand-alone upholstery and body changes. According to the press release, 20 percent of 650S’ have included a degree of MSO Bespoke content, while this number for the P1 rises to 95 percent. Also, this division was responsible for the McLaren X-1 Concept.
MSO Limited – This division is responsible for limited edition runs of models, including the McLaren 50 12C and 12C Spider, which were built to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
MSO Heritage – For the owners of the legendary McLaren F1 and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the MSO Heritage is there to service, maintain and personalize both cars for owners.
MSO Programmes – The recently announced McLaren P1 GTR Driver Program is under this division. In this division, they will build and maintain each P1 GTR, and prepare them for the exclusive track days held by McLaren.
