According to a Jan. 24 article on Autocar.co.uk, British automaker McLaren is developing a new supercar to add to their lineup.
Chief Executive of McLaren Automotive Mike Flewitt confirmed with Autocar that the McLaren P15 is in early stages of development. This new supercar will sit between the MP4-12C and the P1 and will have a price tag around £400,000 (approximately $662,400 USD). Exact details of the car are still unknown, as McLaren is tight-lipped about the new project.
This announcement comes after the P13 was announced, a new model that sits below the MP4-12C that is meant to compete with the Porsche 911 Turbo.
However, the P15 is still “quite a long way off,” according to company officials, but we are excited for details to arrive.
