Three years ago, McLaren launched McLaren Special Operations (MSO) at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Now, the British marque is bringing MSO back with two unique examples of the P1 and 650S Spider.
Commission by a North American customer, this is the first time this particular P1 has been on display publicly. Making this P1 special is a slew of bespoke options that are subtle, yet accentuate the car’s styling. The finish is Stirling Grey, while the finer details are in the famous McLaren Orange paint. This contrast between the two colors can be found on the exterior and interior, making for one unique P1.
The one-off 650S Spider was designed in collaboration with McLaren Newport Beach and McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson. The exterior is finished in stunning Cerulean Blue, which is made of heavy metallic flakes that will give off a gorgeous shine in the Californian sun. Contrasted against this blue finish are the darker tones of the satin carbon fiber found all over the car.
If you happen to be out in Pebble Beach for the event, be sure to catch a glimpse of these rarities.
