In 2012, McLaren created a more aggressive MP4-12C, called the MP4-12C HS (High Sport). Ten examples of this car were created by McLaren’s Special Operations division, with only four originally built for the United States. Each car featured modified body panels meant to increase aerodynamic capabilities. Horsepower and torque levels were also increased over the base 12C’s specifications.
McLaren Newport Beach has just added MP4-12C HS chassis number four to their inventory, and it is available for sale now.
This specific MP4-12C HS is finished in Pearl White and has a Carbon Black interior. It also features a number of factory options, including a carbon fiber high down force front bumper, advanced composite high down force underbody, carbon fiber rear wheel vents, GT3 style paint design, front wheel arch louvers, HS carbon pack (vented rear deck and engine cover vents), branded MP4-12C HS5 sill panels, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber exterior mirrors and an “F1” style badge.
