In an email sent out today from McLaren to P1 owners, McLaren unveiled a new rendering of the P1 GTR, which can be seen above.
The rendering shows a very aggressive rear, complete with a fixed rear wing and diffuser, both large in size and ready for the track. Resting on top of the rear fascia are two exhaust pipes that are rather exposed, which will surely be seen spitting flames on the track.
Along each side of the car are large air intakes and inlets designed for maximum aerodynamics and cooling. The sides also show off the race-proven slick tires.

Unfortunately, the rendering does not show the P1 GTR’s front, but we assume it will be just as aggressive as the rear.
McLaren first announced the P1 GTR on June 13 in a press release. In this press release, McLaren stated that the car will produce 986 bhp and will cost £1.98 million, or roughly $3.35 million USD.
The McLaren P1 GTR will go into production as soon as the 375th road-going P1 is complete, but exact production numbers for the P1 GTR are still unknown.
