The July 2014 issue pays tribute to the month’s Independence Day by placing the American-blooded 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible on the cover. The photo used for the cover was taken by Dan Wang, whom, with this picture, won a student photography contest held by GM. You can read more about Wang and the contest by clicking here.
As for the 2015 06 Convertible itself, this is one powerful and topless American sports car that deems to be reckoned with. Thanks to its new supercharged LT4 V8, 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque are coursing through its veins. This is 126 lb-ft more than the Ferrari F12berlinetta and 128 lb-ft more than the Lamborghini Aventador.
