In anticipation of that excitement, Lexus has announced that they will be introducing the newest addition to the ‘F’ performance line at the Jan. 13 show: the GS F Sedan. A press release issued Jan. 6 describes some of the car’s details, which include some impressive specs.
A naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 will be sitting under the hood of this new luxury sports sedan, creating 389 lb-ft and 467 hp. An eight-speed automatic gearbox puts that power to work, and Lexus’ Torque Vectoring Differential (TVD) will feature three operating modes, Standard, Slalom and Track, allowing you to choose how that power is used.
As the release describes, “Standard provides a balance of agility and firmness; Slalom emphasizes nimble steering response and agility; and Track emphasizes control during high-speed circuit driving.”
