It is not very often that you get to shoot a Lamborghini Aventador. It is even rarer to shoot the third verde ithaca Aventador in the US. I had the chance to do that in early 2012 and the result was one of my favorite photo shoots I have done to date. This shoot took place on the back roads of Tennessee where few people traveled so that the car could be centered in the road and even in opposite lanes at times. Location is everything when doing a shoot and sometimes the backgrounds are hit and miss. Luckily I think the empty roads and country landscape were fitting to this green Lamborghini. We made sure to also take full advantage of a long straight to get some incredible pictures and test the car’s claim of 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. The car performed flawlessly and the pictures turned out great. The Aventador had some big shoes to fill when replacing the Murcielago but after doing this shoot I am confident it has done that and more.
