Recent years have proved profitable in the world of exotics, making car-buyers and car-makers optimistic about the future. Porsche’s recent success prompted the car company’s extension of generous employee bonuses while Koenigsegg’s Agera RS sold out so quickly, it became the brand’s fastest selling model. It looks like Lamborghini is sharing a taste of the spotlight as well.
The famed Italian car maker hit a milestone this week in production numbers. The luxury sports brand reports that the Lamborghini Aventador hit 5000 units produced, marking it as a production record for the car maker. According to a media release, “The Roadster Rosso Bia car, chassis number 5,000, rolled off the assembly line destined for the Italian market.” We’d like to extend kudos to Lamborghini and all the other brands on their recent successes.
