All three Lamborghini Veneno Coupes have been produced, shipped and delivered to their owners, leaving most to think that every single Veneno has been delivered. However, there is still the Roadster version that will have nine examples created, meaning there are plenty more deliveries of the Veneno left.
Recently, photographer Beyond Speed captured a red Lamborghini Veneno Roadster on camera in Bologna, Italy. The supercar was being delivered in a small shopping center, where it was parked for all passersby to see.
The Veneno Roadster was announced back in October 19, 2013, to help celebrate the Italian automaker’s 50th anniversary. It is based around the Aventador‘s 750 hp 6.5-liter V12, and its price tag was set at $4.5 million. Thanks to the car’s primarily light-weight carbon fiber composition, this V12 can jet the car from 0-60 mph in 2.9 second, with a top speed of 221 mph.
More fascinating than the car’s extreme speed is its design, which looks as though it was taken directly from a Le Mans Prototype racecar. Every vent, curve and line has been designed to provide optimum downforce, aerodynamics and ventilation, making the Veneno Roadster an incredibly efficient supercar.
We can’t wait to see who will be delivered the next Veneno.
