Lamborghini posted this behind-the-scenes photo of the Sesto Elemento at Monterey. It hasn’t been shown to the crowds yet, but Lamborghini was kind enough to take this picture and tease us.
The Sesto Elemento (meaning “sixth element” in Italian) is powered by a 5.2L V10 that generates 570 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. The suspension, chassis, driveshaft, and body are all made of carbon fiber, bringing the total weight to 2,200 pounds. It is the lightest car Lamborghini has ever created. It can go 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph. Lamborghini is planning on only creating 20 of the Sesto Elementos and they will be intended for track-use only.
