According to a press release issued today by Lamborghini, the automaker has donated a police version of the new Huracán LP 610-4 to the the Italian State Police. The car was handed over to Prefect Alessandro Pansa today by Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini in a ceremony in Rome.

This Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 is replacing the Gallardo that was used by the Italian police force since 2004. It will begin its service by the end of the year, meaning Italians better watch out for the new high-speed police car on the roads.
