Believe it or not, Lamborghini didn’t start off as the supercar manufacturer that you have come to know and love. Lamborghini actually started off as a tractor company. Ferruccio Lamborghini served as a mechanic in the Italian Royal Air Force. When Germany destroyed most of Italy’s, Lamborghini went to work scraping together parts from the American halftracks that had been used by the US army during the way. After a few years his company, Lamborghini Trattori S.p.A, had become one of the largest agricultural equipment manufacturers in the country.
Now those are some grassy roots.
