All good things come to an end, and when it’s time to say goodbye, especially to a car that the world has loved for more than a decade, it’s only right that it goes out with a bang. The Lamborghini Aventador has been the brand’s flagship model since 2011, and in that time it has built on Lamborghini’s legacy and become one of its most adored models ever made. Its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine and all-wheel drive come together to make a supercar that’s elegant, fast, dynamic, and truly worthy of the Lamborghini name.

The Aventador went through plenty of generations and editions throughout its life, from the original Aventador to the SV, to the S, SVJ, and finally the Ultimae. In an amazing display, Carwow brought every Aventador together for a drag race. Besides a chorus of incredible V12 engines, except for the Ultimae due to it being a factory-fresh car that is only one of 350 ever made, the cars all put down the incredible performance that the Aventador and all Lamborghinis are known for. Even the original Aventador, although it placed last, kept amazing pace with its faster and newer peers. The standing quarter-mile race was a three-way tie between the S, SV, and SVJ, while the rolling half-mile race was dominated by the SVJ due to its gearbox. With sub-11-second quarter-mile times and an unmistakable V12 engine note, the Lamborghini Aventador is still one of the world’s greatest performance cars, even as it’s bowing out.
