A Jan. 12 post on their website describes how orders taken for the Huracán LP 610-4 after it was introduced in March, combined with the last 265 deliveries of the immensely popular Gallardo, greatly influenced the year-end numbers. A total of 3,300 orders were collected for the Huracán before the end of the year, 1,137 of which have been delivered. The website post also mentions that the Gallardo is the “most-built Lamborghini ever,” with 14,022 units created since 2003.
“We increased sales in all our major regions,” said President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A Stephan Winkelmann in the post. “Our biggest markets are the USA and Greater China. They are followed by the Middle East, UK, Japan and Germany which each registered significant growth in 2014.”
Their deliveries for 2014 totaled 2,530 units worldwide, a 19 percent growth over the previous year’s numbers. The marque is represented in 48 different countries by 130 separate dealers, all of which are expected to see more growth in 2015 after the release of the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo and Blancpain Super Trofeo, and the unveiling of the Huracán GT3.
