At the Mondial De L’automobile 2014, Lamborghini brought along the Asterion LPI 910-4 concept car. They uploaded a gallery of the car taking center stage to their Facebook page today, which can be seen below.

This is the Italian company’s first hybrid, but it is nothing like your typical hybrid. Powering the Asterion is a 5.2-liter V10 engine that, alone, creates 610 hp. This power figure on its own is commendable. But when you add electricity via three electric motors, sparks fly and an additional 300 hp brings the power rating up to 910 hp. Working in conjunction with the engine is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission located at the rear axle.
Unfortunately, Lamborghini has said that this is only a concept car, and are downplaying the possibility of a production model.
