Koenigsegg is known for pushing the limits and making waves in the hypercar realm, and it looks like the Koenigsegg One:1 has done it again. Over the weekend, TheBHPProject owned hypercar hit the track at Bruntingthorpe in the United Kingdom and killed the Vmax200 speed record an astounding three times.
Previous records during Vmax200 include 229 mph set by a Porche 911 in 2013 and 225 mph set by the Koenigsegg One:1 in September 2015.
But this time, with driver, Oliver Webb, well-known World Endurance Championship driver, behind the wheel, the Koenigsegg One:1 broke not only it’s personal record, but two additional records as well. The previous 229 mph record for the car was broken when Webb pushed the One: 1 to 230 mph. Then, the One:1 beat the record a tuned Porche 911 set (231 mph) just after the One: 1’s initial run.
Finally, for the big finale, Webb gunned it to an incredible 240 mph, setting yet another record for the day. Check out the video of the car hitting 240 mph below.
