Koenigsegg has made yet another reveal today in addition to the Regera. Introducing: the new Agera RS.
In the press release debuting the new hypercar, Koenigsegg announces that this new model “pushes the boundaries and takes the Agera to all new levels of performance.”
Modifications made to the car include a new front splitter and winglets, side skirts, dynamic underbody flap system, lightweight sound insulation and a dynamic active rear wing. Koenigsegg has also increased its power to 1,160 bhp, as well as its RPM limit. The Swedish automaker also notes that its engine can be modified to run on E85 gasoline with flex fuel for added power.
While the Agera RS is a great car for the track, it is also a road-legal car. The press release notes that it complies with “the latest safety standards and other necessary homologation features,” though it doesn’t state which country’s standards those are. This means we will more than likely be seeing these on the street in the near future.
Only 25 examples of the Koenigsegg Agera RS will be created, with 10 of them being pre-sold.
