A press release from Koenigsegg sent this morning has let us know, in an incredibly brief announcement, that the Agera RS will be officially unveiled March 3.
The Geneva International Motor Show, scheduled for March 5-15 with press days on March 3 and 4, will be the site of this much anticipated unveiling, though there isn’t much else that we can say at the moment.
The Agera S, introduced in 2012, creates a massive 1030 hp and 811 ft-lb, pushing it to an impressive top speed of 248 mph. The Agera R cranks it up to a top speed of 273 mph from its 1,140 hp and 885 lb-ft. As with all Koenigsegg hypercars, the R and S each has a detachable and stowable hardtop.
The Agera RS will likely see a seemingly unthinkable increase in performance over even the R, though we can’t say for sure just yet.
Be sure to stay with us for more updates as they are revealed.
