Ahead of it’s 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed debut on July 12th, Jaguar has unveiled the Project 7 concept. This concept car is based on the F-TYPE, but loses the top altogether and opts for the Speedster styling, similar to the D-Type racing car from the 50’s.
To make the Project 7 Concept stand out, Jaguar made quite a few modifications. The obvious modification is the removal of the convertible top. Other changes include:
– Carbon Fiber front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear wing
– Aluminum side mirrors
– 20-inch Blade forged-alloy wheels w/ carbon fiber inserts
– Composite driver-side bucket seat
– Four-point racing harness
– Passenger seat is removed for helmet holder which has custom Project 7 helmet
– Seats and doors finished in quilted diamond pattern
– Machined aluminum paddle shifters
