When the 2014 Ford Mustang releases, it was be the dawn of a new era: reports state that Europe will get a four-cylinder turbocharged Mustang. While this setup isn’t unheard of in a Mustang (go back to the foxbody), it is still the first time a ‘Stang will be fitted with an EcoBoost engine.
Unfortunately, reports were saying that the US would not get this four-cylinder Mustang it would not do well in the gas-hungry nation. However, according to Road & Track, the US will be getting the turbocharged pony. The engine in question is the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost.
