The new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is in the business of tearing through dirt trails, as made apparent in a video uploaded by the American automaker yesterday, August 20.
While this new high-performance beast isn’t on showroom floors as of yet, Ford was kind enough to give us a taste of what the its prototype is capable of in the form of the aforementioned video, found below.
A press release issued by Ford Jan. 12 gave us all of the juicy details on the new truck, including its new engine and underpinnings.
Powering the new 2017 Raptor is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that produces more than the 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. More information on the truck can be found in our January 13 article covering the unveiling of the car at the North American International Auto Show.
Check out the video below to see the prototype in action and expect to see it become available in Fall 2016.[youtube id=”rSNx18E3QSs” align=”center” mode=”normal” autoplay=”no” maxwidth=”680″]
