When it comes to the being on top in the American muscle game, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat needs to watch its back, because Hennessey Performance has tuned the 2015 Ford Mustang into a 717 hp monster machine.
In an article published today by TopGear.com, details were released about the Texas tuner’s latest project, starring the redesigned Mustang.
The 717 hp comes courtesy of the HPE700 supercharger upgrade that runs at 7.25 psi, which also boosts the torque to 632 lb-ft. To give you an idea of how drastic of an upgrade this is, Hennessey added almost 300 hp over the standard power. Top Gear goes on to say in the article that the tuned Mustang’s 0-60 mph time will be 3.6 seconds, and will run a quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at 131 mph.

Hennessey will limit production on this monster Mustang to just 500 units and each has a starting price of $59,500.
