If you have been on the waiting list for Ferrari’s latest supercar, they are only building a few each week. That’s because the 812 Superfast takes their naturally aspirated V12 beyond what everyone thought was possible. At your command will be 789 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. This comes from a 6.5 liter V12 that is loosely based on the 6.3 found in earlier models. Using solid lifters, variable length intake runners, and higher compression, it is the most powerful naturally aspirated engine on the market.
The body is lower and wider than the F12 series, and the 812 makes better use of high-pressure air to create downforce. Inspiration for the interior comes from the LaFerrari, right down to the seats and the instrument cluster. Cruising at a top speed of 211 mph, you will have 15.6″ front rotors to slow you down. Rear steering is controlled by “Virtual Wheelbase 2.0”. It is programmed to turn with or against the front wheels for the ultimate grip or a wild drift. We asked for it, and Maranello has delivered! This car only has 1,856 miles so you can rest assured it has many years of fun ahead of it.
