A Ferrari F40 wrecked in 2011 by a mechanic taking it for a joy ride. It was considered a write-off due to the damaged chassis.
However, Gas Monkey Garage got a hold of the wrecked supercar by dropping $400,000 on it. They planned on fixing it up in working order, and in their own vision. During the season premiere of their TV show ‘Fast N Loud’, they showed the process of the Ferrari F40 restoration. In the end, the Ferrari F40 was fixed, but many Ferrari purists cry foul due to the aesthetic and mechanical changes.
