Though not everyone will have a chance to own a completely custom 488 GTB from Ferrari, everyone has the chance to see exactly what their dream model looks like in stunning and impressive detail.
Recently launched on the marque’s website is an online configurator for the 488 GTB, where you have the ability to select every single option available in Maranello’s Ferrari Atelier. Through this configurator, you can select every intricate detail that you would like included on your model, from the cut of the wheels, to the color of the brake calipers, to the leather and carbon fiber accents of the interior.
But of course, one of the most important aspects of picking any car is the paint color, and we all know that paint appears differently in different lighting scenarios. To allow for as full of an understanding of how everything appears as possible, the 360 degree view allows for both night and day lighting, a look at your 488 GTBÂ from every angle and a few close up shots of the important exterior details.
Engine: Turbocharged 3.9-liter V8
Transmission: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic
Horsepower:Â 660
Torque: 560 lb-ft
0-62 mph: 3.0 seconds
Top Speed: 205+ mph
Fiorano Lap Time: 1’23”
Power-to-weight: 4.6 lbs/1 hp
We stuck with a theme of deep reds and yellow accents, with Rosso Fiorano on the exterior and Bordeaux for the interior, because you can never go wrong with a good Bordeaux. (On a side note, I bet that a Ferrari Bordeaux wine would taste as incredible as the leather looks. Hint hint, anyone who works for Ferrari).
In the last section, they take you through all of the additional options that are available. These include custom bags for the rear shelf; a full set of trolly, soft bag and suitcase; a handy fire extinguisher; silver dedication plate; telemetry kit and a High end HiFi system.
