There are few things in this world finer than a brand new Ferrari, but it’s easy to say that a completely tailor made Ferrari California T qualifies as one of those things.
Created especially for the Shanghai Auto Show to display the marque’s dynamic design abilities, a completely bespoke California T in Grigio Ingrid was unveiled both in a press release and at the media day today. Two of history’s most iconic personalities acted as the inspiration for the design – Ingrid Bergman and Jacqueline Kennedy.
The paint name pays tribute to Miss Bergman, and is the exact shade of grey which she used on the Ferrari 375 MM she was given by filmmaker Roberto Rossellini in 1954. But the true beauty of this modern model is the touch of understated beauty given to it by the sleek and subtle color. The interior features rich, warm tones that contrast starkly against the cool metallic exterior.
The interior luxury draws its inspiration from theKennedee chair design by Jean Marie Massaud, and feature a velvety “count prestige” leather reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy’s redecoration of the White House in 1961. The floor mats are even more notably plush, featuring 100 percent pure virgin wool from New Zealand.
