Earlier this morning in Paris, Ferrari pulled back the curtains on their latest efforts. For the beginning of this year’s Tour Auto Optic 2000 rally, a Tailor Made 488 GTB was launched alongside the new GTC4Lusso.
In homage to the classic Ferrari 308 Gr4 Pioneer rally car, the 488 GTB was commissioned by Parisian Ferrari dealer Charles Pozzi. Sporting vintage Pioneer livery, it looks ready to race. The Tailor Made program takes place in Maranello and offers discerning Ferrari buyers an opportunity to build the car exactly to their liking.
Not to be outdone, the new GTC4Lusso captivated auto journalists with All Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Steering. This new four seater looks to be an evolution of the FF, with an astronomical compression ratio of 13.5 to 1. With more compression than many race cars, it delivers 681 hp and 514 lb-ft of torque.
Paris hasn’t seen this much horsepower since 1940, so we don’t know how Ferrari will top this event. For complete coverage, be sure to watch their YouTube video below. Stay tuned to Autofluence for more Ferrari news.
