On June 15, the engine started. At 6 am, myself and friends BVO Photography and Owen Justus Westerhout Photography began the Tour de Baguette with our first stop in Paris, France, the city with the famous Eiffel tower and the Champs-Elysées. At 11 am we parked our car in the garage and made the gear ready for some spotting in the centre of Paris.
The Champs-Elysées was the first stop. This street is full of traffic through the old city, with many supercars passing by. The famous luxury garage Foch is a place where you always spot the best supercars; we found a Zonda F Roadster parked there, a Veyron and more. We started with some really nice supercars, such as a Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series next to some Ferraris and Lamborghinis; the best start you can wish for. When we walked to the Arc de Triomphe we passed many, many cars. As you can see in the photos, there is always life moving around.
After 6 hours of walking around, we got back to the hotel for some rest. The next morning we needed to drive 990 KM (615 miles) to Menton, near Monaco, for the big photography work.
On June 17 we packed our bags for a long day in the famous Monaco: the F1 circuit through the city, the harbor with the luxury boats, the famous Casino square, the Fairmont Hotel and, of course, all the people cruising the whole day with their supercars.
The photos speak for themselves. Different supercars were pushing up the throttle and parking for photos. The best supercars we saw were the Koenigsegg Agera X, Mercedes SLS AMG Hamann and Mclaren P1; the rest are mostly personal preferences.
We also saw some Gumballers that day; the Gumball 3000 was already finished in Ibiza, but Team Galag was still doing some sightseeing in Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.
After 3 days Monaco this tour came to an end. In our eyes it was a very successful tour and we are all three pleased to announce that we are planning to complete more tours this year. Maybe we won’t travel quite so far, but we definitely plan to find some supercars and hypercars.
