duPont REGISTRY has teamed up with the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction to find a special series of cars that will be offered at the event June 21 and 22. These eight, world-class ultra-rare vehicles will be on display throughout the event in the Agrodome Auction House, allowing ample time to view each one.
Below are the cars included in this very special series, as described on the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction website.
1958 Chevrolet Yeoman Custom – Former SEMA winner
“This is the famous Chris Dixon built ’58 Yeoman. 3 1/2″ wedge top, hand-formed rear glass, frenched handmade side chrome, restyled taillights, Jaguar dual headlights, restyled grille, narrowed bumpers, Chrysler door handles, paint PPG pearl orange, interior features leather throughout. TMX sound system, hand-built dash and console and Vintage air. Powered by an awesome Cadillac custom Northstar engine with a one-of-a-kind billet valve cover, mated with a 700R4 transmission and 9″ Ford rear end. Fat Man chassis and under carriage is fully detailed. Air Ride suspension, Corvette front suspension and disc brakes. 2001 Goodguys Columbus National feature car, SEMA show winner, many Best of Shows.”
2006 Ford GT40 – Whipple Twin Supercharged – 850hp
“Here it is, the car of cars for collectors. Since the Ford GT40′s started rolling off the line, they have steadily increased in value and are now one of the most coveted supercars on the planet. This baby come with the amazing Whipple Supercharged motor and less than 2,000KMS! This car is as new, has spent its life in a showroom and now a garage, never seen abused miles and is in perfect condition. 4L – Twin Supercharger (Whipple) turning 850 Horsepower.”
1954 Chevrolet Belair Custom
“During its full body off restoration, every inch of the Belair was customized. Its hood was shaved and fully finished off underneath to show quality, and the upper grille bar was frenched into the body and fitted with 15 strident chromed teeth. Even the taillights were specially tailored and installed in handcrafted housings. An under-the-hood restoration resulted in an exceptional ride for both city and highway driving. It’s powered by a 216 CID Chevrolet inline six engine fit, Holley Weber 2 barrels carburetors, and a 700R transmission. To finish it off, a Firestone Air Bag suspension was installed, allowing the driver to toggle between the correct cruising height and the wicked dropped showing height.”
2005 Chevrolet SSR Custom AKA Dragn – Former SEMA truck
“One of a Kind custom show truck. Super Charged V8. The Dragn is a show car built with the leading edge of electronic technology with many special visual effects. Complete Appraisal along with original receipts totaling over $430K (not including purchase of the original truck).”
1967 Ford Mustang Custom – AKA Night Mare
“One off custom SUPERCAR. 520 cu in 700HP (engine), 150 shot of Nitrous Oxide, Tremec 5 Speed transmission, Digital Air Ride Suspension, Art Morrison chassis, 14in Willwood Brakes, 20in Custom Vellano wheels w/375mm rear wheel. Custom Metal work; Extended Rockers, Raised fender wheel lips 2in, Hand made fire wall, Hand made Hood, Custom leather Interior, Custom Audison Thesis Audio system, Custom 3in stainless exhaust, Custom electronically actuated powered hood, Custom paint and Candy GT stripes, painted with BASF. This car took just under 3000 hours to build and is a one of a kind custom car.”
1946 Chrysler TownCar Limo – Commissioned by John D. Rockefeller Jr.
“A beautifully restored 1946 Chysler Town Car Limousine. Originally built for John D. Rockefeller Jr. as stated by Kruse International. This a one of a kind classic automobile. It features a Derham built body from one of the greatest auto builders of the Era. The car has straight 8 spit fire engine and has 3 speed hydromatic transmission. It features suicide doors that lead into a beautifully restored rear quarters complete with wood window trim, jump seats, divider window, double rear heaters and vanity mirrors at the rear. The driving compartment is completed with black leather seats and has a wonderfully put together dash and gauge assembly.”
2002 BMW M3 Cabriolet Convertible -Former SEMA showcar!

1964 Lincoln Continental Custom – AKA H8R
“When this bad Lincoln (H8R) rolls down the road, call out the neighbours for a look. Everything from the ground up has been redone to this numbers matching 430 that has been rebuilt and balanced turning 400HP. The BASF three coat wet sanded and polished black paint is a mile deep and rechromed accents set this bad boy off. Rolling on custom 20” steel wheels, it looks like it is floating down the road. Crack open the suicide doors and treat yourself to a look at the inside with all new carpet, upholstery and custom touches with the cars name H8R emblazoned throughout. Sure the engine sounds the part, but this car can rumble in another way, with its unreal custom audio system that is clear as a whisper, whether you are playing a lullaby, or thumping out some hard core rap.”
