As the weather warms up across the country and around the world, roads are clearing of ice and engines are beginning to roar with regularity. As the luxury cars come out of hibernation, it also means that it’s time for collections to start growing, because spring auction season is in full swing.
April 9 to 11 saw one of the most events in Houston, where Mecum Auctions featured vehicles from the Charlie Thomas Collection, Tom Goodlett Estate Collection, Ed Pace Collection and more. From 1932 Duesenbergs to 2006 Ford GTs, a wide variety of collectible vehicles were available to the world for a short amount of time, and below are the 10 that swept everyone away and drew the highest bids.
