It’s SuperCar Time come January 3-11, 2015 as SuperCar Week, Inc. produces its 5th Annual series of auto enthusiast events throughout Palm Beach County. Proclamations issued by the Palm Beach Commissioners and the City of West Palm Beach are branding SuperCar Week as “the” auto enthusiasts travel destination for January. Last year, over 60,000 visitors attended the free public and exclusive VIP events.
The 5th Annual SuperCar SuperShow, Sunday January 11th, is one of the largest events of its type in the car world. Besides the spectacular setting along Palm Beach’s downtown waterfront, what makes this event even more spectacular is the producers’ broad definition of the term “supercar.” While exotics from Italy will be abundant on the Palm Beach downtown waterfront, the show isn’t limited to those of pure bread Italian descent.
Special appearances at this year’s event include the fastest car in the Guinness Book of Records World, Johnny Bohmer’s, Performance Power Racing’s BADDGT, , who, after setting the 283.232 mph record, is gearing up for his 300 mph record breaking run. SuperCar week will also be host to the first South Florida appearance of the one-and-only 1967 Shelby G.T. 500 Convertible. Originally owned by Carroll Shelby himself, and regarded as the world’s rarest muscle car, this one-off ragtop is valued well north of $20 million dollars.
This year, McLaren will bring their P1 from the Dimmitt Auto Group in Tampa Bay and Lamborghini Palm Beach will showcase their colorful line up including the new Huracan. 80% of the vehicles on display are driven-in by individual owners and car club members.
SuperCar SuperShow Sunday prides itself on the diversity of the most influential and significant cars in the world, presenting them in a cityscape of auto categories along the newly renovated $30 million dollar, Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach Waterfront. Sunday’s waterfront event is an entirely free, fun-filled family day of auto enthusiast sharing, education and entertainment. Do you have a significant vehicle? There’s still time for you to register for January 11th event by visiting .

The one mile Waterfront SuperCar SuperShow Sunday is the Grand Finale to nine days of auto enthusiast event, held throughout Palm Beach County. “It’s significant” says Neil London, President and Executive Producer of SuperCar Week. “Of the 500 vehicles, more than 200 come in from all over the State of Florida and what the media seems to like most, is the diversity of the show with; supercars, exotics, classics, muscle cars, race cars, art cars and there’s even a Green Street for electric vehicles. Not only is there something for everyone, there’s something significant for everyone.”
Now, celebrating it’s 5th year, SuperCar Week is also producing a special day and night track event at presenting sponsor’s Palm Beach International Raceway, Friday, January 9th, with road course sessions from 4-7p and 7-10p and drag strip from 4 -11 p.m. and Karting from 6-10 p.m. For those not on the track, there will be music, entertainment, Karting Nationals and VIP areas with food, beverage and entertainment. Road Course sessions are being managed and co-produced by the Palm Beach Driving Club.
Special hotel accommodation rates are provided by SuperCar Week’s Host Hotel, EAU Palm Beach Resort & Spa from Friday January 2nd through Monday January 12th.
