Each January, the leading automotive manufacturers in the world converge on the heart of America’s auto industry and hold an event that will take any person and make an enthusiast out of them. Detroit has played host to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) since 1899, and it’s a tradition that shows no signs of stopping any time soon.
The 2015 NAIAS has seen some of the most impressive releases of this decade, from Acura’s reveal of the second generation Acura NSX, to the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS and Cayenne Turbo S, to Ford’s unveiling of the Mustang Shelby GT350R, 2017 F150 and the GT’s long anticipated successor.
Luckily, for those who could not attend the press preview days, photographers Jerry Villagrana and Alex Tillman were present both days, acting as your very own eyes inside the Cobo Center. The NAIAS’s website also released some quick recap videos of the press days, which give you a great glimpse at the true breadth of this event.
Be sure to watch the videos, above, and flip through the galleries below to see what NAIAS 2015 brought to the table, and start planning your trip to Detroit for the 2016 NAIAS now.
