The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance by itself is an incredible event, showcasing some of the world’s finest automobiles. Enthusiasts from around the world flock to this Florida event just to have the chance to show off their pride and joy on the green grass. But if this event wasn’t already outstanding enough, duPont REGISTRY held their first Cars & Coffee Amelia Island during on the Saturday preceding the Concours d’Elegance.
The Cars & Coffee event gave drivers a chance to show off their cars on the same grass that the Concours is held on. It is easy to say that the inaugural event was a hit. Over 250 cars showed up, filling the designated area with absolutely stunning cars. Corvettes and 911’s made their presence known considering it was the 60th anniversary of the Corvette and the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911. Chevrolet even decided that the Cars & Coffee Amelia Island would be the perfect place for the 2014 Corvette Stingray to make its first North American appearance after the Detroit International Auto Show.
While you may have not had the luxury of being at this amazing event, we have an incredible video showcasing the Cars & Coffee Amelia Island, thanks to TheMotorcarSociety. The video can be seen below, which shows off the incredible automobiles and their gorgeous setting.
