If you’ve ever wanted the pages of duPont REGISTRY to come to life, tonight is your chance.
Kicking off the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance this weekend is the annual duPont REGISTRY Live Hangar Party. It’s a one-of-a-kind night where as many guests arrive by plane as they do by car, and South Florida’s finest restaurants bring their best dishes. Purveyors of fine goods will also all have displays, each with something ready for you to take home.
Walk down the runway, flanked on either side by exotic cars, custom motorcycles and private jets. Tucked between them are extravagant boats, vintage aircrafts, luxury motorcoaches and dozens of guests in stunning attire.
Saturday night will play host to the Concours d’Elegance Grand Gala Dinner, Auctions and Show, where the Annual Automotive Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Keith Crain and the Ed Morse Automotive Group. Ralph Marano will receive the Lee Iacocca Award to acknowledge his dedication to the preservation of classic cars.
Sunday at the Boca Raton Resort & Club is the Concours itself, where 200 of the country’s finest collector cars and motorcycles will be presented on the show field. Judging will occur from 9 am – 12 pm, while the show will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, with the awards ceremony beginning at 1 pm. Wayne Carini will be acting as the Grand Marshal, Dr. Paul Sable as the Chief Judge and Ed Gilbertson as the Chief Honorary Judge.
