duPont REGISTRY has teamed up with the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction to find a special series of cars that will be offered at the event June 21 and 22. These eight, world-class ultra-rare vehicles will be on display throughout the event in the Agrodome Auction House, allowing ample time to view each one.
(All cars will be selling in Canadian Dollars and information on registering to bid online for free can be found here.)
This week, we would like to focus on the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, also known as “Night Mare,” featured in the duPont REGISTRY Series of cars at the event.
This Mustang, built by 360 Fabrication, is a one-off muscle car powered by a 520 cu. in. 700 hp V8 engine mated to a Tremec five-speed transmission. Adding even more power to the massive engine is a 150 shot of Nitrous Oxide.
Other features added to this custom Ford Mustang include digital air ride suspension, an Art Morrison Chassis, 14-Wilwoodlwood brakes, 20-inch custom Vellano wheels, extended rockers, hand made fire wall and hood, custom leather interior, custom Audison Thesis audio system, custom 3-inch stainless steel exhaust, custom electronically actuated hood, custom paint and candy GT stripes. The entire car took just under 3,000 hours to build, which equates to roughly 125 full 24-hour days of work.
If you happened to stop by the duPont REGISTRY booth at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2013 event, you actually would have seen this car there.
The owner has been offered more than $400,000 for it, but they have decided to let it go under the hammer at the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction in the duPont REGISTRY Series. The event is scheduled to take place June 21 and 22 at the PNE Fairgrounds in Vancouver, Canada.
