Barrett-Jackson was back in Las Vegas for another year of jaw-dropping displays rolling across the auction block at the Mandalay Bay Event Center from Sept. 25 – 27, with the duPont REGISTRY booth welcoming bidders and sellers alike to the crowd all the while.

A number of our friends and clients were present at our booth, in addition to one especially special guest: racecar driver, television host and celebrity writer Justin Bell. Bell is the featured writer in our 2015 Exotic Car Buyers’ Guide, which will be available for purchase on Oct. 7.

As a special offer for guests of the auction, Bell and duPont REGISTRY Publisher Thomas L. duPont were at our booth signing advance copies of the ECBG, the only guide of its kind in the world.

Over the course of the three-day auction, hundreds of cars rolled across the block, dozens of celebrities mulled around the center and millions of dollars exchanged hands and entered charitable organizations, including a mind-boggling $1.65 million to the Opportunity Village Foundation from the sale of a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The car, which was accompanied by Wayne Newton and Penn Jillette, sold for $825,000 and received a matching donation from the Engelstad Family Foundation.

Another highlight was the duPont REGISTRY After Party at the 1 Oak Nightclub at The Mirage Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 26. Featuring music by DJ IKON , it was the best place to be to rub shoulders with the automotive industry’s most elite enthusiasts.
