With obligatory stops at the Shelby museum and headquarters, the crew from CAR Magazine’s online edition spent 4 days and traversed 1,300 miles across Southern California and Nevada, conducting an important experiment along the way.
Their aim? To determine whether European innovation or good ol’ American muscle takes the cake.

In the video above, uploaded to YouTube today by CARmagazineTV, takes a behind-the-scenes look at their trip, giving us some insight into which car, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Huracan or BMW i8, is better than the rest.
