The Ford Raptor has been pretty comfortable in its niche ‘super-truck’ market for quite some time now, but at last a new challenger has approached.
Lingenfelter has just pulled back the veil on a new project, based on the Silverado, called the 2014 Chevrolet Reaper. In collaboration with Southern Comfort Automotive, the Reaper looks to be a worthy competitor for the Ford Raptor.
A new front end, bumper and skid plates highlight the all new exterior, giving the Reaper a menacing stare. Other standard features include:
- Daytime LED Running Lights
- Integrated Rigid Flood Light System
- Fox Racing Suspension
- Corsa Performance Exhaust Package
- Reaper 20″ Wheels
- 33″ Off Road Tires
- Rock Guard/Side Steps
- Serialized Reaper Badging
- Auxiliary Switch Panel
- Reaper Gauge Package
- Custom Stitched Headrest Covers
Optional features include:
- Reaper Graphic Wrap
- 17″ Beadlock Off Road Wheel & Tire Package
- Lingenfelter Supercharger & Engine Tuning
While a price is currently unavailable for the Reaper, we can tell you that you will be able to pick one up at a participating Chevrolet dealership. Would you pick the Chevrolet Reaper of a Ford Raptor? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
