Famous Texas tuner, Hennessey Performance, is now offering a upgrades to the new 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray. These upgrades will allow the new Stingray to achieve power numbers between 500 and 600 hp.
The HPE500 upgrade comes in with a pricetag of $4,995 and brings the horsepower up to 500 from the base 455. Parts included in the HPE500 package are the stainless steel long-tube headers, high-flow cats and midpipes. An HPE engine computer calibration is also included in the HPE500 package, which completes the powertrain upgrades.
Hennessey is also offering the HPE600 package, which comes in at $10,950. With this package, the power of the 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray is increased to 600 hp. The power increase is made possible by combining the HPE500 package with an HOE-spec hydraulic roller camshaft and porting and polishing the factory cylinder heads. An obligatory tune to the engine’s computer is included.
Both upgrades include Hennessey’s exterior badging as well as the Hennessey carbon fiber door sill plates. And each are also covered by HPE’s 3-year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty.
