Corvette Racing has a created a legacy over the years, taking the road-going Corvette and transforming it into a winner on the track. With the 2014 Corvette Stingray C7 yet to land on showroom floors, we still await exact details on the C7’s racing future.
We have yet to learn the specifics, but we do know that the 2014 Corvette C7.R will be the next Corvette racecar to take on the likes of the ALMS and more. Rumor has it that the C7.R will be powered by an upgraded version of the engine found in it’s predecessor, the C6.R. While we wait for more details, check out the video below. It features a camouflaged C7.R lapping Laguna Seca and making some incredible noise while doing so.
