Two weeks ago, Tupac Shakur’s 1996 Hummer H1— the last car he’s thought to have purchased before his death, hit the auction market. Given the rap-star’s notoriety and his untimely death, many fans were undoubtedly elated to see his Hummer H1 up for sale. Tupac exploded onto the scene in the early 90’s and his fast rise to fame ended all too soon, making his last vehicle purchase that much more special.
It looks like one lucky collector acquired the iconic piece of rap history, as the auction house is now listing the Hummer as sold. According to the auction house site, Tupac Shakur’s sold for $337,144.50.
Customized to the iconic rapper’s specifications, the H1 includes diamond plate bumpers, an external PA system, and a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 engine. The sale of the vehicle also included promotional tapes off the rapper’s All Eyez on Me album and Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Congratulations to the new owner!
