A 1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT once owned by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is up for sale, according to a May 5 article on BBC.com.
Richards purchased the car brand new in 1972 while he was in California, and eventually took it Britain in 1975. He held on to the car for 14 years until the Dino was sold to a private collector in Japan.

The car is now being offered at Coys’ Monaco auction, which will take place May 9. But, here is the kicker: there is no reserve set for the car. This means that the car has absolutely no minimum price, but this does not bother Coys.
A Coys spokesman said in the article that “a Ferrari Dino offered at no reserve is rare enough in itself, but when one adds to this proven long-term ownership by rock and roll aristocracy, the Keith Richards car has to be the ultimate Dino.”
