Golf legend Ian James Poulter has made headlines countless times over for winning tournaments worldwide, and with all of that hard work, it’s only expected that he would invest just as much care and energy into his leisure time.

An admitted car enthusiast, Poulter has a special affinity for Ferraris – his Instagram and Twitter accounts often share pictures of some of the most stunning examples of prancing ponies out there, and Jan. 13 was no exception.
A series of Jan. 13 tweets from Poutler (@IanJamesPoulter) and RJ Nemer (@RJ_Nemer), the Founder and President of Icon Sports Management, showed off not just a few of the most beautiful examples of Ferraris to date, but also Poulter’s newest purchases, which he traveled to Maranello to pick out.

“In the car on the way to my Dream day trip,” read one tweet. “Maranello, Italy, slightly excited.”
He had a helping hand in the selection process; Nemer tweeted to F1 driver Mark Blundell that he was “helping IJP select the correct colour for his new LaFerrari” before exploring the layout of Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters.

Of course, Poulter’s trip wouldn’t have been complete without a tour of the facilities, including a stop at the Classiche department, where he was able to view the original build sheets, hand-written in 1967, for the 275 GTB4 that he owns.
