Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has been teasing information about their newest project, and at last we have a chance to hear its engine, learn about its dynamics and get a good look at this powerful creation for ourselves.
The SCG003 is set to be an improvement on the already beastly Ferrari P 4/5 Competizione, with the ideas of “simpler,” “lighter” and “smaller” dominating the design process. “Could it really be that ‘Less is really more?'” describes their website. “That’s what our new road car is going to be. Lighter, smaller, simpler and very beautiful.”

A video uploaded to YouTube Dec. 19 by RoadandTrack gives us the chance to see the result of those design cues, driven by Nicola Larini, a driver for the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus team.
“We told Nicola to do two laps,” James Glickenhaus, the mind behind the P 4/5, told Car and Driver in an interview. “After five we had to stand in the center of the track to bring him in. He was very emotional. It’s like driving an F1 car, and unlike others, he would know.”
Be sure to see a quick clip of this run in the video above, and check out the photos of the SCG003, which were uploaded to their Facebook Dec. 19. A status from the group posted yesterday states that they’re back on the track and testing today while preparing Chassis 002 for testing as well. Be sure to stay with us for updates from those test runs as they are made available.
