Just because she spends all day fighting human rights violations and pursuing legal justice in some of the world’s highest courts doesn’t mean Amal is too busy to be thoughtful when it comes to the people she loves.

Reports are coming in that George Clooney will be receiving a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS from his wife Amal for his birthday May 6. An article published May 3 by The Mirror tells us that George recently went for a test drive in this new Porsche, and it’s set to be one of the first ones brought to the United States.
A family source reportedly told The Mirror that, “Amal has been looking for the right car for him to replace his black Porsche 911 and the new one is much faster.” Their article also tells us this new Porsche “will share a garage with his prized 1959 red and white Chevrolet Corvette.”
Unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show March 3, the 2016 911 GT3 RS is set to be one of Porsche’s most powerful cars ever produced, taking much of what was learned in the creation of the 918 Spyder and applying it to one of their core model lines. A four-liter, six-cylinder engine creates 500 hp and 338 lb-ft, the combination of which propels this car to 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.1 seconds. Interior shots were released March 11, which you can see in the gallery below.

When first introduced the MSRP for sales in the United States was set at $175,900 with an additional $995 destination charge, and its launch date was set for sometime in July of this year. Unfortunately for George, that means he’ll likely have to wait upwards of two months before he can actually bring his birthday present home.
Stay with us for more updates, and in the meantime, find yourself a 911 from our exclusive listings to match against George’s when he finally gets a chance to enjoy a track day in his new present.
