Music producer Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) has been in the automotive news lately for his Purrarri (nyan cat-wrapped Ferrari 458) and MeowClaren (McLaren 650S). Now, he is adding a new car to his collection: a McLaren P1.
We had the chance to talk to Deadmau5 about his exciting purchase and learn more about it. Ordered through McLaren Toronto, part of Pfaff Automotive Partners, his new P1 is finished in a vibrant blue color that will have a carbon fiber rear wing. The image above is what he said his P1 will look like, but his will have a carbon fiber rear wing and less gloss.

Inside, he told us he will more than likely opt for a black interior with Alcantara, race seats and a five-point harness. And he’s going to be in it every chance he gets.
“I’ll for sure use my 650S as a daily driver,” he told us, “but I won’t be too scared to take the P1 out for a joyride / track day. Just wanna keep it nice!”
We would like to congratulate Deadmau5 on his latest purchase and can’t wait to see the finished product when it arrives in March. Also, be on the lookout for his next release on Nov. 25, ‘5 years of mau5.’
